- In the condition of social dynamics, a diverse community environment requires a variety of communication skills also based on the social environment dynamics that occur. One example is in the community, an interesting community observing the communication model is Malang Marriage Clinic. In the process of facilitating taaruf, it cannot be separated from interpersonal communication between the material provider and community members for students who are ready to get married so that the taaruf process can run efficiently. The purpose of this research is to find out the interpersonal communication that is applied by the speaker and community members in taaruf efforts and media preaching in Malang Marriage Clinic community. In this study, researchers put interpersonal communication theory as the main focus of research that focuses on the core of interpersonal communication on openness, positive attitude, equality, empathy and support. In addition, researchers also use social penetration theory, Social Penetration Theory is part of interpersonal communication theory that describes sertra outlining the relationship between two individuals or more developed from their shallow or non-intimate origin, becoming more personal or more intimate. This study uses an interpretive approach which is a systematic analysis of social action. This research is a qualitative research. Data collection is by observation, interview and documentation at Malang Marriage Clinic. This research can be concluded Openness in this study is shown by the transparency of information, furthermore the positive attitude taken is to continue to obey the rules that apply in the community, the similarity is shown by not blaming any group of community members, empathy attitude by giving a long enough portion of asking questions.
