- Teaching materials needed by SDI Sabilul Khoir students include teaching materials that can increase student enthusiasm for learning and students become active in learning. Teaching materials needed by students are teaching materials that are different from existing student books meaning students not only read, but students can also play with the teaching materials used. Teaching materials that can be used by learning by playing can reduce the boredom in students. Interactive teaching materials for students have a delay in understanding the material at SDI Sabilul Khoir. They can also do something directly with instructions for using these teaching materials. So the researchers developed wallchart teaching materials on the thematic learning of my hero theme, the theme of the struggle of the heroes in elementary school. The research and development model used is the ADDIE model. There are 5 stages of research and development procedures, namely analysis of potential problems, data collection to be developed into products, product design, product design realization, product evaluation. Data sources were fourth grade students and teachrs at Sabilul Khoir Batu Islamic Elementary School 2018/2019. Retrieval of data using observations, interviews, expert validation questionnaires, teacher response questionnaires, questionnaires response of students in the use of teaching materials, using qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of the research and development show that the use of wallchart teaching materials is feasible to use in the thematicnlearning of my hero theme. The theme of the struggle of the heroesis proven by the results of the validation of some experts with 88% teaching materials experts, 91% material expert validation and 93% teacher responses. The researchers implementes in class IV the responses of students to teaching materials to be active, innovative and interests in learning compared than before using proven learning teaching materials supported by the results of the questionnaires responses from class IV on average showing percentage resultswith a value of 96%. The use of wallchart teaching materials gets a positive response from students and is very feasible to use in the thematic learning theme of my heroes the subtheme of the struggle of the heroes. The results of research and development of wallchart teaching materials are suggested to be used as reference teaching materials in the thematic learning theme of my heroes the subtheme of the struggle of the heroes in class IV elementary school and also as a means of assisting teachers in the teaching students about the subtheme or the struggle of the heroes to be more acive, creative,uplifting and fun.
