- The research titled: Analysis of Efficiency and Effectiveness of Regional Origin Income of Gerbang Kertasusila Government in East Java”. The research purpose was describing effieciency and effectiveness of Regional Origin Income of Gerbang Kertasusila Government in East Java. In this research, analytical tool used were efficiency and effectiveness ratio, while data used was secondary data, and data collection technique used documentation method. From efficiency ratio equation at Gerbang Kertasusila region has efficiency ratio under 100%, which means that the regional government performance was well since the cost smaller than income of regional origin income. In Gerbang Kertasusila Region, the best effectiveness ratio in 2006 was Mojokerto city with 124,91%, 2007 was Mojokerto residence with 169,91%, while in 2008 was Mojokerto Residence with 139,39%. Regional Government Performance was optimal since the realization of regional origin income more than target stated. While region with best average effectiveness ratio was Mojokerto Residence with 144,24% and the lowest effectiveness ratio average was Bangkalan Residence with 91,68%. Regional efficiency ratio of Gerbang Kertasusila which was not good was Bangkalan Residence with -0,08% and the best was Gresik Residence with 0,29%. The highest effectiveness ratio was Surabaya Residence with 1,14%, and the lowest was Mojokerto residence with -0,18%. According to above conclusion, the writer could suggest the Gerbang Kertasusila government to increase the regional origin income potential and increase the service quality to the people so that they would obey the government in paying taxes and retribution.
