  • Understanding the concept is the ability to understand, explain, interpret or draw conclusions of learning mathematics with its own whole language. This study aims to produce interactive learning media that are valid, effective, and practical, and can help students improve understanding of concepts in the material to build flat side spaces. This type of research used in this study is Research and Development (R&D) with a model research used ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The subjects of this study were students of class VIII at SMP Negeri 1 Cluring. The research instrument for data collection used was a validation sheet to obtain a validity assessment of the media from the validator, a student questionnaire response sheet to find out the practicality of the media, and a pretest and posttest test sheet to determine the effectiveness of the media. The results showed that the development of adobe flash-based learning media is valid, practical and effective, through these media in order to increase motivation and understanding of students' concepts in the material presented and adobe flash-based interactive learning media can be used. Relevant research from the results of Kintoko's research (2015) that so far adobe flash-based interactive learning media is one way to encourage students to be more active using their abilities and knowledge.
