- This research started from the observation results of interview with the mathematics teacher of 10th elective class of Natural Science 2 (IPA-2) in State Senior High School of 9 Malang, in which the class had not used the cooperative learning model of type Two Stay Two Stray yet. This research aimed at finding out the effectiveness of cooperative learning model of Two Stay Two Stray type on the activities and students’ learning outcomes of 10th class of State Senior High School of 9 Malang in the academic year of 2018/2019, especially on the mathematics learning. This research used quantitative approach with descriptive method. The research designs used in this research were initial test, teacher and students’ activities, learning outcomes, and paper score. There were two variables in this research, namely independent variable in the form of cooperative learning model of type Two Stay Two Stray and dependent variable in the form of activities and learning outcomes. The population of this research was the students of 10th class of State Senior High School of 9 Malang. The data collection techniques used observation and test methods. The research results of mathematics learning implementation using learning model of TSTS (Two Stay Two Stray) by the teacher and students for four meetings were done well and effective. This was indicated by the overall implementation of learning carried out by the teacher in the meeting 1 to 4, in which it had increased the learning process. In the mathematics learning using the learning model of TSTS (Two Stay Two Stray), the students were more creative in showing their statements and mathematics abilities by using their own understanding. The students’ interest and motivation obtained the of improvement 57,4% to 80,06% while the learning outcomes obtained a significant improvement from 37% to 90% and the improvement was 53%.
