- Background Congestif heart failure is one of the most serious disease and is catergorized as a disease that can kill someone secretly because in general patients do not adhere to treatment, For this reason, a supervisor is needed to schedule treatment and support patients. This study alms to determine the role of families in treatment compliance in patients with congestif hearth failure. Method this study uses qualitative methods with a case study approach, data collection methode uses purposive sampling using techniques, interview, observation, and documentation. Samples of taken as many as three respondents that is the families of patients with congestive heart failure in the area Balearjosari Malang. Result:this experiment in get 4 theme namely (1) Family participation in the process, (2) Patient treatment acetive in using the health check, (3) Support, (4) take a decision. Discussion: Of the result of this research can be concluded that the family role to take contol patients, reminds his medicine, running support patients for treatment. The role of family indispensable in controlling compliance to run tratment regulary that patients routinely treatment until the state of patients improved
