- This study aims to analyze leading economic sectors, competitive and specialized sectors, and potential sectors to be developed to support economic growth in Mimika Regency, Papua Province. The analytical methods used are Static Location Quotient (SLQ) and Dynamic Location Quotient (DLQ), Esteban-Marquillas Shift Share, and Klassen Typology. The results of the combined analysis of SLQ and DLQ show that the leading sectors with SLQ> 1 and DLQ> 1 criterion are the mining and quarrying sector with SLQ values of 2.08 and DLQ of 1.52. Esteban-Marquillas Shift Share analysis results show sectors that have a competitive advantage with criteria rijin> 0 and specialization with criteria Eij-E'ij> 0 are the mining and quarrying sector with a value of rij-rin of 0, 02 and Eij-E ' ij for 469.12. The results of the Klassen Typology analysis show that potential sectors with certain sector growth criteria are higher than the same sector in the reference area but the contribution of the sector is smaller than the reference area is the agriculture, forestry and fisheries sector; manufacturing sector; construction sector; and the health sector and social activities sector.
