- The study aims to determine the influence of foreign debt, Foreign Direct Invesmen and export Net against foreign exchange reserves in four (4) developing ASEAN period 1997-2016. The tools used in this study are multiple linear regression using the data panel with hypothesis testing i.e. F test, T test, coefficient of determination of R2. The results of this study showed that together the foreign debt, Foreign Direct Invesmen and Net exports were positively and significantly influential about the foreign exchange reserves in four (4) developing ASEAN countries, with a probability value of 0.0000. Whereas individually the foreign debt was positively and significantly influential towards the foreign exchange reserves with a regression coefficient value of 0.539909 and a probability value of 0.0000. Foreign Direct Invesment has a positive and significant effect on foreign exchange reserves, with a regression coefficient value of 3.173800 and a probability value of 0.0007. Net exports positively and significantly affect the foreign exchange reserves, with a regression coefficient value of 3.204325 and a probability value of 0.0416.
