- This study aims to describe and analyze the effect of ability and motivation of employees’ performance in PT. Japfa Comfeed, Tbk South Borneo. The method used primary and secondary data. This research used random sampling of 69 production employees. The quality of a measuring instrument was done by testing the reliability and validity. Furthermore, the analytical tool of this study consists of a range of scales and multiple linear regression. Hypothesis testing was done by using t test and f test. The results of this study can be concluded that the analysis of the scale of the ability is included in the high category, motivation is included in the high category, and employees performance is included in the high category. The results of the analysis stated that the ability has positive and significant effect on employees performance. The motivation has positive and significant effect on employees performance. The ability and motivation has positive and simultaneously effect on employees performance. Therefore, the motivation dominant effect on employees performance
