- Poto Tano harbor functions in the transfer process of human, goods, and service from Sumbawa island to Lombok island and vice versa. It is one of the main facilities for visitors in Sumbawa island. However, there are several deficiencies regarding the facilities and infrastructure, such as the waiting area being used by vendors to sell their goods, queueing ships due to lack of dock, and lack of refueling point. Therefore, service improvement should be attempted. The prediction results showed that in 2023, there will be 994957 passengers and 34 ships. Based on the calculation of land facility pertaining to the regulation of ministry of transportation with the land facility condition in Poto Tano Harbor, there should be an expansion of terminal from 705 m2 to 1055,34 m2.
