- Poverty is classic issue faced by most developing countries and is one of economic indicators to view public welfare level in any region. In addition to these factors the problem of poverty cannot be separated from issues of the time so that the proverty analysis requires analytical approaches that not only consider the cross section data but also using time series data. The research aimed to analyze effect of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) and humand development index on poverty level in East Nusa Tenggara Province. This study uses secondary data that is data obtained in the form that has been obtained from the Central Statistics Agency. The analytical method used is panel data regression over a period of five years from 2013-2017 with the selected model that is the fixed effect model (FEM). The results showed the human development index had a negative and significant effect and the gross regional domestic product had a positive and significant effect on poverty levels in East Nusa Tenggara Province.
