- In connection with political dynasties that have occurred in Indonesia, it indicates how a power wants to be controlled and maintained by one group or relatives to maintain its power. The occurrence of the political dynasty itself, each of its implementation, must have existed as a determining factor which caused the political dynasty to emerge. For example, the Probolinggo City election in 2014-2019 illustrates how the political dynasty was built through the determinants of the victory of the Rukmini and Suhadak couples in the 2014-2019 regional elections. The method used in this study is descriptive with qualitative analysis. While the technique of data collection is done through interview methods, documentation and observation. This research was conducted in the City of Probolinggo in relation to the place that would be examined by the author. In this study the author uses the theory of political coalitions, political participation and modalities. A coalition of political parties was formed from 3 parties namely PDIP, PKS and PAN using a coalition of minimum size coalition. For political participation, that is related to the relatively high voter turnout of the City of Probolinggo, which is 84%. For the modalities applied are political capital, social capital, cultural capital and economic capital. The political capital owned by the Rukmini and Suhadak couples is the political relationship and political power in Probolinggo City, where the family of Rukmini occupies an important post in the government in the City of Probolinggo. For social capital related to the good name of the husband who was relied on who had the previous ex-mayor's two periods, with the good name the community was interested in choosing Rukmini and Suhadak. For the cultural capital that is owned related to the cultural conditions that exist in the City of Probolinggo with an approach to the kiyai and still related to the good name of her husband who is very close to the people of the City of Probolinggo. For the economic capital that is owned by the Rukmini family that has a fairly good economic sector, they have many companies in the City of Probolinggo and its proximity to the big businessmen, namely the PO bus Akas which has been a success, so that all the factors they have can win the Probolinggo regional election.
