- Post-harvest rice activities in South Borneo, especially in the village of Seradang, Kec. Haruai, Kab. Tabalong, are still traditionally carried out due to limited equipment and inadequate agricultural machinery. Such conditions cause losses, among others, during the process of threshing rice is still not optimal, still mixing straw with grain, and requires a long time and energy production operations so that many high operational costs to overcome them, they create threshing machines that are expected to increase yield, accelerate the process separation of stalks with rice fruit and avoid mixing straw with granules in the product yield. The design of the threshing machine is done to simplify and provide time efficiency to farmers when doing rice threshing. The general process that is carried out is by inserting the rice stalk and its fruit into the hole in the input, the rice will get the threshing threshing force of the cylinder, then down to the output of the grain of rice. This threshing machine in operation requires a 60 rpm shaft rotation with 2 HP power to produce rice output of 200 Kg / Hour.
