- This study aims to determine the effect of investment, Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), and district minimum wage (UMK) on employment in the Gerbangkertasusila Region of East Java Province in 2013-2017. The data used in this study is to use secondary data taken from 2013-2017. This study uses a multiple linear regression tool using panel data method by testing hypotheses such as F test, t test, and Determination Coefficient R2. The software used in this study is Eviews 9. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the value of gross regional domestic product (GRDP), as well as the district minimum wage (UMK), affect employment in the Gerbangkertasusila area while the investment value does not affect labor absorption work in the Gerbangkertasusila Region of East Java Province. Whereas if if seen based on individual investment negative effect and not significant towards labor absorption, with regression coefficient value of -0.043851 and probability value 0.4373 > 0.05. GRDP has a positive and significant effect on employment, with a regression coefficient of 0.744990 and a probability value of 0.0000 < 0.05. UMK has a negative and significant effect on employment, with a coefficient of -0.645622 and a probability value of 0.0072 < 0.05.
