The extent of the use of MIG welding because the welding can be performed automatically and has a high reliability. Weld toughness is influenced by many factors such as heat input, strong currents, filler and inert gas, welding speed and cooling rate.&#xD; Ends to the achieved in this research is to gain strength so that MIG welding connection for the better.&#xD; Experiments conducted using low carbon steel materials or construction with the variation of heat input of 2.291 kJ / mm, 3.208 kJ / mm and 4.125 kj / mm in the welding plate V at the hem, with a welding speed of 4.8 mm / s and 220 voltage Vo with variations in welding current from 50 Amper, 70 Amper, and 90 Amper.
