  • Do this kind of research is a research survey, conducted in Leather Industry Company "Surya" Magetan with the title "The Effect of Training on Employee Performance In Leather Industry Company" Surya "Magetan". The purpose of this study is to determine the training that has been done by the management of Leather Industry Company "Surya" Magetan, to know the performance of employees in Leather Industry Company "Surya" Magetan and to find a significant effect of training on employee performance in Leather Industry Company "Surya "Magetan. Usefulness of research to be achieved, especially for companies can be used as guidance for implementing workforce development and can also be used to determine how the implementation of workforce development in accordance with company requirements. The analytical tool used in this research is by using a range of scales and simple linear regression. Based on the calculation of average scale range of training variables obtained figure of 144.25, which means that training employees on the production of Leather Industry Company "Surya" Magetan entry in either category. Based on these results prove that during this training activity undertaken by the company can effectively influence the ability of employees to move in the company. The result of calculation average scale range of performance variables obtained figure of 149.5, which means that the employee's performance of Leather Industry Company production "Surya" Magetan entry in the high category. These results can prove that so far in the company's employees work in both quality, quantity and time of completion of the work could be done by employees of the maximum in the employee performance resulting in the production included in the high category. Based on the results of simple linear regression analysis using the F test it can be seen that the training has a significant influence on the performance of the production employees at the Leather Industry Company "Surya" Magetan. Based on the conclusions of the research, then put forward some suggestions which expected the management to stay continually up to conduct job training to employees. Business is conducted in an effort to maximize on potential employees in working in the company. Also expected the management to provide the facilities that can support the training activities undertaken, so that employees have the attitude and sense of responsibility towards work that is the responsibility of each employee.
