STUDI PENGGUNAAN FUROSEMID PADA PASIEN SINDROM NEFROTIK (Penelitian Dilakukan di RSUD Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang)
Daftar Isi:
- Background: Nephrotic syndrome is a condition where there is loss of excessive protein into urine due to glomerular filtration disorders with complex symptoms of proteinuria (>3,5 g/ 24 hours), hypoalbuminemia, edema, and hyperlipidemia. Furosemide is a strong diuretic (loop diuretic) used to treat edema in patients with nephrotic syndrome. The mechanism action of furosemide is inhibit the NA+/K+/Cl2- cotransporter, thus hinders water reabsorption in the nephron by obstructing the sodium-pottasium-chloride reseptors in the thick ascending limb of loop of henle. Objective: This study is to determine the pettern of using furosemide in patients with nephrotic syndrome at Dr. Saiful Anwar General Hospital of Malang. Method: Retrospective observational in patients with nephrotic syndrome at Dr. Saiful Anwar General Hospital of Malang from January – Desember 2018. Results and Conclusions: The use single of furosemide in 43 patients (91%) and a combination of two in 4 patients (9%). The most common use of single furosemide is furosemide (1×40 mg) iv in 5 patients (12%). The use of two combination without switch is furosemide (1×40 mg) po with spironolakton (1×50 mg) po in 1 patient. The pattern of switching furosemide therapy with 2 patterns in 6 patients (55%), 3 patterns in 4 patients (36%), and 6 patterns in 1 patient (9%).
