Budi Suprapto, M.Si, Ph.D Keywords: Management, Communication, Organization An organization must have the goal of achieving something to be realized. In Malang itself there are several commercial radio that has its own management to achieve a goal from the radio agency. In that case, the role of a broadcaster has an important role in the radio. Each radio has its own management to improve the quality of the Weis. The determination of the personality of the broadcaster is also influenced by management that is communicated in the Organization. Therefore, the problem in this research is the communication management of commercial radio organizations in improving the quality of broadcasters. The study uses a qualitative approach with a type of qualitative descriptive research. The study aims to describe the communication management of local commercial radio organizations in improving the quality of broadcasters. The subject in this study was radio producer Elfara Fm. The informant is the broadcaster for the triangulation of the source. Data collection is done by interview methods and documentation. The analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, and withdrawal of conclusions and verification. Data analysis results stated that the communication management of local commercial radio organizations in improving the quality of broadcasters, can be seen from the functions of the Organization, planning, organizing, directing, and controlling. Planning here the producer planning activities of communication management organization that will be done, organizing, producers put themselves as an organizational structure that has the duties and responsibilities should be, directing, producers apply Communication management that has been compiled and applied to broadcasters, controlling, producers supervise the management that runs in improving the quality. But in research and interview results, researchers found a fairly different form of management among producers one with other producers as well as informant in implementing the management of organizational communication in improving the quality Broadcaster. Based on the results of research data and analysis of research data, obtained the following conclusions: (1) Producer Vizzy, conducting organizational community management in improving the quality of broadcasters starting from, managing, planning off water, Disclose the involvement of outside parties in management, conducting communication horizontally, conducting mentoring, evaluating and granting rewards. (2) Producer Bagus, conducting briefings to broadcasters, planning off water activities, sharing information broadcasting, conducting communications horizontally, conducting controlling to broadcasters, evaluate, and reward grants. (3) There is a difference of opinion between producer one and producer two and also recognition of informant concerning communication management of the Organization on the Radio Elfara Fm. (4) Informant feel of a change about the manager applied in Improve the quality of broadcasters, even in the fact that each informant has different changes in terms of broadcasting.
