- This study aims to determine the effect of financial literacy on financial behavior mediated by financial knowledge. This study uses primary data using the questionnaire method and the sample used is 100 respondents with student objects at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang. Data analysis used descriptive analysis, instrument test, classic assumption test and hypothesis testing with regression meditation. The results of this study indicate that financial literacy influences financial behavior, financial literacy also influences financial knowledge, financial knowledge also has an influence on financial behavior and financial literacy also influences financial behavior mediated by financial knowledge.
