- This research is motivated by quite a number of transgender appearances in video clips that directly or indirectly in the visual and raise issues of gender equality, equality of rights as human beings, and discrimination. Video clip Against Me! The title "FUCKMYLIFE666" raises the picture of the struggle of a man who is struggling to become a transgender. So the purpose of this research is to find out the transgender representation depicted in the video clip. Using the theory of Roland Barthes with two stages, beginning with the first stage, namely the signifier and signified analysis table, the second stage is by interpreting denotation, connotation and myth. The analytical method used is Semiotics Analysis. Type of Interpretative research, with a Qualitative approach. Interpretative type of research will get an interpretation, where qualitative does not use the calculation explains in depth about the process that focuses on the meaning of symbols as a study, as well as how researchers interpret and understand a symbol. Based on his conclusions Transgender is reflected in the main character in the video clip "FUCKMYLIFE666" that the director of this video clip illustrates how Laura Jane Grace's process of becoming a transgender and her struggle to obtain proper rights like other normal humans after she decided to become transgender. In this video there is also a pro-gay campaign and support to fight discrimination that is often done against transgender people.
