- Material transfer machine is one of the equipment used to move loads in locations or areas, departments of industries or factories, construction sites, storage areas, unloading cargo, and so on. In contrast to long-distance transport (trains, cars, through water and air) which moves cargo at a considerable distance, the food storage equipment moves the cargo at shorter distances. In its application the distance traveled is limited to tens to hundreds of meters. Crane is a material moving machine that has a combined lifting mechanism separately with the frame and is used to lift or simultaneously lift and move cargo that can be hung or tied to the crane freely. Making a crane starts from determining the lifting capacity, designing hook dimensions, rope thickness, pulley size to the power needed to lift maximum loads. From the results of the researchers do know the dimensions of the hook, rope thickness, and other specifications that exist on the crawler crane.
