- SPBU is a Public Fuel Filling Station that provides fuel for community needs, especially motorized vehicles. In the city of Trenggalek there are gas stations which has several female workers who work late at night. Problems arise, including how is the legal protection for female workers who work at night in the Trenggalek regional gas station, what are the obstacles to implementing legal protection in accordance with the Manpower Act, and how the solution. In answering the problems that arise, the author uses a sociological juridical approach and uses primary data in the form of interviews and secondary data in the form of the Manpower Act, then analyzed using the comparative method and presented in qualitative descriptive. The results of this study have several similarities, namely from social, technical and economic protection, and there are differences including the Karangsoko gas station using supervision in the form of security guards and CCTV, whereas Tugu gas stations and Ngantru gas stations use direct supervision by supervisors. As for some obstacles that occur, especially in Tugu gas stations and Ngantru gas stations, namely the lack of security systems and the absence of shuttle services for all gas stations that the authors have examined. So that a solution that can be applied includes the need for a modern security system and obliging and providing shuttle transportation facilities for workers, especially women who return to work late at night.
