PERBANDINGAN PENGARUH LATIHAN NORDIC HAMSTRING DAN STATIC STRETCHING TERHADAP KELINCAHAN PEMAIN BASKET CHARIS NATIONAL ACADEMY

- Background: As a muscle group which has a as stabilizer and lead the lower leg, hamstrings muscle flexibility is supporting the occurrence of agility. In our activity this muscle tends to shorten, few people realize if there is decreasing in extensibility of their hamstrings muscle. When running on the field hamstring muscles are forced to extends and retracts quickly and continuously, so that the decreasing in extensibility of this muscle would have an impact on the agility. Objective: This research is aimed to compare the effect of Nordic Hamstring and Static Stretching on the agility of basketball players in Charis National Academy. Methods: This research method was using a quasi-experimental design with Two Group Pre-Post Test Design. The samples were involving 30 respondents by using purposive sampling technique. The research instrument was using Illinois Agility Test. Finally, the data analysis was examined in statistical way by using Wilcoxon and Mann Whitney using SPSS application version 23. Results: The analysis showed that the value sig 2 tailed 0,16 with the value of α=0,05, which mean that H0 in this research was accepted Conclusion: There is no comparison of effect Nordic Hamstring and Static Stretching on the agility of a basketball player Charis National Academy.
