- Wireless technology supports the technology development in nowadays globalization era. Wireless technology which popular in society are Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are the technology that apply similar frequency spectrum of ISM band; 2, 4 GHz. The use of similar band frequency spectrum may influence the interference among technology. The interference will impact the user and cause the decreasing performance from WLAN network such as throughput. This study was conducted in two measurement areas; indoor and outdoor. The impact of interference in Bluetooth was analyzed. The Bluetooth that used in this study were Bluetooth version 3.0 and 4.0 with five bands in 802.11 b. In addition, throughput, delay, and packet loss were the measurements parameter. The signal power was measured in 1, 2, 3, and 4 meters distance. Moreover, this study was burdened with video streaming. The result of this current study showed that the best performance result happened in the condition where there was no interference. However, the mean of throughput was 49, 4 Mbit/sec, delay was 4, 7% - 12%, and packet loss was 0, 0%.
