- This study focuses on the Strategy of the Service Program provided by the Al-Ishlah Elderly Cottage to the Elderly. This study aims to find out the Program Strategy and Implementation Program services provided by Al-Ishlah Elderly Cottage to Increase Elderly Happiness which refers to the Resources of Reaching Happiness (Seligman, 2002). This study uses Qualitative Research Methods with Cluster Sampling technique approach. The subjects in this study were administrators or nurses and elderly in the Elderly Cottage. Data collection techniques use observation, unstructured interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques in this study include data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Theresults of the study show that the strategy of the service program inAl-Ishlah Elderly Cottage refers to the Resources of Happiness (Seligman, 2002). Thereare some that have been successfully implemented by the Elderly Cottage and some are not successfully implemented. The one who succeed are Prosperity, Achievement, Social, Religious and Activity in leisure time. And as for the concept that was not reached or failed, namely marriage, because marriage is the Duty of the Elderly Family and FamilySupport, because there is an openness between the Institution and the Elderly family.
