  • Salmonella typhi is causative agent of typhoid fever, often met in developing countries and have serious infection form to the other genus because make complication for example bleeding and perforasi of intestine. According to the previous research, black seeds contains active antimicrobial which are volatile oil, triterpene saponin and flavonoid. The research is true experiments using Post test Only Control. The concentration of black seeds extract that used are 100%, 50%, 25%, 12.5%, 6.25%, 3.125%, 1.56%, 0.78% and 2 controls (material control and germ control). Analysis of data using one way ANOVA, correlation, and regression. MIC (Minimal Inhibitory Concentration) from the experiment is on 3.125% concentration, and MBC (Minimal Bactericidal Concentration) is on 6.25% concentration. One way ANOVA test shows significant difference between black seeds extract concentration (p = 0.000) and inhibisi zone (p = 0.001). The higher black seeds extract concentration, the lesser the number of Salmonella typhi collonies (r = 0.874). The higher black seeds extract concentration, the wider ability to make inhibisi zone (r = 0.898). Black seeds extract influences reduce large amount of Salmonella typhi colonies (R2=76.4%). Black seeds extract have antimicrobial effect to growth of Salmonella typhi.
