Key words : Attitude of freedom, feminism, liberal Liberal feminism is a movement that views women and men as having equal opportunities. This liberal feminist movement aims to get women to gain control, both to the body and the social environment. Literary work is one of the media used to see the dynamics of life, including problems regarding women that often occur. As one type of literature, novels are one of the media to illustrate these problems, including Drupadi novel by Seno Gumira Ajidarma. This study discusses the attitude of the main character's freedom in Drupadi's novel by Seno Gumira Ajidarma. Drupadi is the main female figure who tries to get equality and justice for her. This study aims to describe (1) the form of the attitude of freedom of the main figure in Drupadi novel by Seno Gumira Ajidarma (2) factors that influence the attitude of freedom of the main character in the Drupadi novel by Seno Gumira Ajidarma. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with a feminism approach. Sources of data in this study are Drupadi novels by Seno in the form of units of stories, paragraphs, fragments of sentences in dialogue characters in Drupadi novels by Seno Gumira Ajidarma, data taken is data relating to the form of attitude of freedom, and factors that influence the attitude of freedom figures main in Drupadi's novel by Seno Gumira Ajidarma. This research is focused on problems related to the attitude of freedom. The technique used is content analysis technique. Based on the results of the research and the results of the discussion of Drupadi's novel by Seno Gumira Ajidarma, it can be concluded that the form of the main character's freedom of attitude in Drupadi's novel by Seno Gumira Ajidarma includes (a) freedom of thought characterized by the main character who is able to think individually and rationally have a choice; (b) freedom to behave / act characterized by actions that are consistent with their beliefs and can act in accordance with their beliefs. Factors that influence the attitude of freedom of the main character in Drupadi's novel by Seno Gumira Ajidarma include three factors, namely (a) cultural factors including: patriarchal culture; (b) psychological factors in the form of self esteem; (c) power factors that can influence one's attitude to gain power.
