- University of Muhammadiyah Malang supported its students for being global by establish networking with many international institutions, such as Erasmus. The students should aware to communicate mindfully with strangers that have different cultural background. This particular research is conducted to determine how to be mindful. There are 5 subjects for this research that had been going through international project before being Erasmus awardee. They are Regiana Cindy Hamijaya, Syolindra Indra Syafril, Agung Rizka, Azzura Apriliani, dan Izza Fayaliq. Mindulf in intercultural communication from Langer is used in this research and AUM theory scheme; self-concept, motivation to interact, reactions to strangers, social categorization of strangers, situational processes, connections with strangers, dan ethical interactions. There are 3 important points found in this research; (1) every subject fulfill at least 3 categories in AUM theory scheme which conclude that they are communicate mindfully, (2) self-concept and reaactions to strangers are two categories that is found in each subject, (3) every subject in this research had been involved in international project which could influence their experience with strangers in Europe.
