  • Background: Low back myogenic pain is pain that is felt by the lower back of muscle tissue, there are several causative factors such as age and working period. physiological muscle strength will decrease with age and also be affected by the long duration of work. This study aims to determine the relationship of age and years of service to the risk of myogenic low back pain in sand miners in Kalimujur Lumajang Regency. Research Method: The design of this study used observational with a cross sectional approach. The study was conducted on February 25 to February 27, 2019 with 61 sand miners responders. The measuring instrument used in this study used a questionnaire and Nordic body map with the way the respondents filled in directly. Data analysis using Spearman rank correlation test with SPSS version 16. Results: Spearman rank correlation test results obtained significance of 0.00 <0.05, then H1 was accepted, so it was found that there was a relationship between age and years of service to the risk of myogenic low back pain in sand miners in Kalimujur Lumajang Regency. Conclusion: There is a relationship between age and years of service to the risk of myogenic low back pain in sand miners in Kalimujur Lumajang Regency.
