  • Background :Fracture is a condition in which the bone gets a load of pressure above the abillity of the bones to absorb and Closed fracture itself occur if the skin on top is still intactor where the bone does not penetrate the skin. In Indonesia in 2013, around eight million people experienced fractures with different causes and types of fractures. Pain is one of the clinical manifestations of closed fracture. Ketorolac is a class of analgesic drugs that have antipyretic and anti-inflammatory properties, which have a mechanism to inhibit the biosynthesis of the formed prostaglandine, and inhibit the enzyme cyclooxygenase (COX). Ketorolac has several advantage that make it being potential equivalent to morphine, Low acute tolerance that can still occur in opioid analgesics even in single doses. Goal :Aim the pattern of ketorolac based on clinical data and laboratory data in patients with Closed fracture at Regional Public Hospital of Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang. Method :The research with observational by descriptive design and retrospective data retrieval atpatients with Closed fracture at Regional Public Hospital of Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang in 1 January- 31 Desember 201. Result and Conclusion :The results showed that the pattern of the use of Ketorolac Analgesic in Closed fracture patients was (3x30 mg) as many as 34 patients with a maximum use for 5 days. With 34 patients, 94% of patients received ketorolac (3x30mg) IV in single therapy and 2 patients (6%) received combination therapy. The combination therapy that use is Ketorolac (3x30mg) IV + Tramadol (300 mg in 500cc NS 0,9%) IVFD / 24 hours and Ketorolac (3x30mg) IV + Metamizol (3x1g). The use of the most switches in 14 patients (60%) of 22 cases, namely ketorolac (3x30 mg) IV was replaced by sodium diclofenac (2x50 mg) PO.
