- This study examines acts of violence in children of studies in the field of protection of women and children in the city of Malang by focusing on the forms of child violence, the causes of acts of violence, efforts to protect the government against acts of child violence in Malang. This study uses qualitative research with the type of descriptive research data collection techniques used are indirect observations in interviews and documentation, data analysis techniques in this study include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study (1) forms of violence include five violence, ce, sexual violence, child custody, namely physical violence, psychological vio neglect and economic violence. (2) With a lack of understanding of parents about education in caring for children, guiding children , and teaching children. (3) government efforts in the program summarized in three preventive efforts in the form of preventive services for violence carried out in the community are curative for victims who experience violence by trying to assist victims in counseling, rehabilitative efforts aimed at restore the condition of the victim as a result of the violence he experienced.
