  • Gallus gallus domesticus Linn. is a local Indonesian chicken species whose presence is close to the community and is known as a producer of animal protein sources. Productivity of Gallus gallus domesticus Linn. influenced by the quality of feed. The feed imports that containing high protein are expensive and unstable, so that the necessary feed cost and effcient alternative to improve the productivity of Gallus gallus domesticus Linn. Additional ingredients that can be used as alternative feeds leaves are Moringa oleifera Lam., Azolla pinnata R. Br. and Tithonia diversifolia (Hemsley) A. Gray. This research aimed to determine the effectivity of several types fermented plant species with different concentrations on the performance of Gallus gallus domesticus Linn. The type of research used is the type of real experiment (True Experimental Research) with the design of the study design using Factorial and using the experimental design in the form of a Completely Randomized Design. The concentration used for each treatment is 0%, 5%, 10%, and 15%. The data were analyzed using two-way ANOVA, and Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The results of this research showed that there was a significant effect between fermented plant species and the concentration of fermented plants on performance of Gallus gallus domesticus Linn. Treatment of Azolla pinnata R. Br. with a concentration of 10% produced the highest performance, namely the average consumption of rations of 1233,7 grams, body weight gain of 438 gram, and conversion of ration 2,82. The treatment can be used as a cheap and efficient supplementary feed to improve the performance of Gallus gallus domesticus Linn. The results of this research can be used as a learning resource for Vocational High School Grade XI Poultry Agribusiness materials feeding and drinking for broiler chicken.
