Mentor I Rachmad K. Dwi Susilo, MA., Ph.D. Mentor II Drs. Sulismadi, M.Si This research was conducted in Banyuwangi district about the dynamics of natural resources conflict. Some of the problem in this study are how is the dynamics of community conflict with gold miners on mount Tumpang Pitu? The title of this research is the Dynamics of Conflict of Community with Gold Miners in the mount Tumpang Pitu Banyuwangi (Case Study in the Village Sumberagung District Pesanggaran District Banyuwangi). The study used the conflict theory or Ralf Dahrendorf and the theory of Shimon Fisher’s conflict dynamics. The study uses qualitative research methods with a case study approach. The research subject is determined using the purposive sampling technique. Data sources are supported with books and journals that are relevant to the focus of research. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, in-depth interview techniques and documentation, data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and conclusion withdrawal. The result showed that the dynamics of conflict of natural resources in mount Tumpang Pitu is divided into four phases namely the pre-conflict stage (conflict triggers arises), the stage of confrontation (the conflict has begun to appear to be there is a pro and cons), phase of crisis (condition of conflict already exist violence and violations of human rights) and the post-conflict phase (the conflict has subsided even though it is an industrial tripartite relationship between the Government, the community and Mining companies (corporation). Environmental and political issues as well as the management of natural resources conflict is seen in the case of conflict in mount Tumpang Pitu Banyuwangi.
