Against the level of Malondialdehyde (MDA) rats (Rattus Norvegicus Strain Wistar) in the induction of Aloksan ". Final assignment, Faculty of Medicine, University of Muhammadiyah Malang. The cell damage is characterized by the increase in blood MDA due to the oxidative stress that takes place in the body. It can be hindered with Cambodian floral extracts that contain oxidative stress-suppression compounds. Objective: Knowing the influence of Cambodian flower extracts against the MDA of Aloksan-induced rats. Methods: The experimental, Post Test Only Control Group Design, 25 rat tail samples divided 5 groups. The normal group, a positive control group that is in the induction of Aloksan and three groups are in the induction of Aloksan and is given a Cambodian flower extract (71, 141, 282 mg/KgBB). Measurement of Malondialdehyde levels using the TBARS method Results and discussion: Statistical test showed the best results in the P3 group of 0.53 nmol/ml. ANOVA Test There is a meaningful difference (P < 0.05). The Post HOC test is no meaningful influence in each treatment group. A linear regression test was obtained R2 = 0.762. Increased MDA levels of antioxidant inhibited in Cambodian flower extracts in the process of oxidative stress. Conclusion: A Cambodian flower extract affects the decreased levels of MDA mice that are in induction of Aloksan. Keywords: Cambodian flower extract, MDA, cell damage, Aloksan. * Faculty of Neurosciences FK UMM * * Faculty of Staff FK UMM
