- In the production process in industries that are very complex and dynamic, changes in conditions are less expected, due to the lack of control system capabilities for controllers in maintaining the processes or procedures that exist in the industry. Then this study aims to improve the performance of Bat Algorithm-based PID control by adding torque load to the motor to get to the desired set point and when there is overshoot it will be muffled. The ability of the Bat Algorithm is to accelerate finding the value of the PID parameter compared to the control which generally manually pips the PID. In this bat algorithm find the parameter kp, ki, kd with reference to the frequency signal produced by the bat between 25 Hz -150 Hz to find the parameter value of the PID controller. PID includes two stages, namely the first stage of system modeling, carried out by the identification process based on variable plant data. The second stage is the design of the Bat Algorithm in the form of m-file as PID tuning. The results of the analysis show that the Bat Algorithm-based PID control can improve motor speed performance to go to the desired set point compared without PID control.
