- The background of the research is based on the problems that occur in the field, namely the development of technology in agriculture is not fully equitable because there are still many farmers who do not understand the existing technology. The objectives of this study were to find out how the factors (group goals, group structure, task function, group development and grouping, group unity and cohesiveness, group atmosphere, and group tension) influence the effectiveness of farmer groups in farmer groups in Torongrejo Village. This research was conducted in Torongrejo Village, Junrejo District, Batu City. The sampling method uses Accidental techniques to 75 samples from 296 populations. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis. Data analysis method used is by using descriptive analysis with a quantitative approach. This research is a study explaining in sentence or language from the numbers obtained. This study assesses the nature of the conditions that appear. This study describes the relationship that occurs in the dependent variable (Y) with independent variables (X1- X7). The results of this study, namely from the test coefficient of determination shows that 94.9% of the results of the dependent variable can be explained by the independent variable and the remaining 5.1% is explained by other factors. The F test shows that together the independent variables have a significant effect on the dependent variable. The results of the t test show partially the variable group objectives, group structure, task functions, group development and development, group unity and cohesiveness, group atmosphere and group tension significantly influence group effectiveness in the application of agricultural technology.
