  • Extraordinary School Teachers must deal Children with Special Needs who need extra attention and patience than other normal students. Therefore, teacher must have the ability to adapt with different emotions or known as emotional competence. One of the things that can affect emotional competency is self efficacy, namely the teacher's belief in his ability to produce a desire for his students to achieve learning goals, even though there are students who experience difficulties in learning or are not motivated to learn. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of self efficacy on the emotional competence of Extraordinary School Teachers. The research method is a quantitative non eksperiment with simple linear regression analysis. The sample in this study were 129 teachers in Malang City. The sampling technique using quota sampling is a technique for determining samples from populations that have certain characteristics to the desired number of quota. The scale used in this study is the scale of Self-efficacy Teachers and Emotional Competency Scale. Analysis of the data used is SPSS for Windows version 21 statistical software. The results of this study indicate that self efficacy significantly influences the emotional competence of Extraordinary School Teachers (F=106.741 ; p= 0.000 < 0.05) with the contribution of self efficacy of 45.7% to the emotional competencies of Extraordinary School Teachers (B = 0,457)
