  • In controlling the induction motor that is done conventionally there is no continuous and linear arrangement, so it is necessary to do research on the control of induction motor with inverter technique using PID control and Fuzzy logic control. This study aims to develop and evaluate the performance of one phase induction motor control using Varible Speed Drive with the PID and Fuzzy method in the MATLAB application. In this study, a single phase induction motor was used in Simulink MATLAB with adjusted parameters. The study began with making a series of simulations, making fuzzy rules, and tuning PID using the Ziegler Nichols method. Furthermore, observing the waveform produced by the inverter is then channeled to a single phase induction motor. The results of the research are graphs of motor speed and motor torque.
