- Passenger Public Transportation (AUP) of Lumajang City is one of the modes of transportation used by the community to meet transportation needs. The current number of passenger public transport fleets consists of two routes A and B with a capacity of 12 passengers / vehicle. The purpose of the study was to determine the performance, demand and availability of the A and B route passenger public transport fleets in Lumajang City. The study results revealed the performance of public transport routes A and B. The average load factor of route A was 58.75%, the average travel speed was 7.59 km / h, the average headway was 8.32 minutes, the average frequency was 7,87 vehicles/hour, average travel time of 3.43 minutes/km, the number of vehicles operating 95.83% and the demand for optimal number of route A fleets is 20 units. The average load factor of route B is 55.48%, the average travel speed is 16.74km/h, the average headway is 9.23 minutes, the average frequency is 7.10vehicles/hour, the average travel time is 3.57min / km, optimal fleet demand of 17 units.
