- Sumenep Regency is one area that has a high percentage of sexual violence against minors. One of the rights of children under the age of victims of sexual violence is the result of the level of investigation. This study focuses on three things, namely: 1) Forms of legal protection by Sumenep District Police against children at the age of victims of sexual violence. 2) Efforts made by the Sumenep District Police in tackling sexual violence against minors. 3) Constraints of Sumenep District Police in efforts to overcome sexual violence against minors. The research method that I use is to use a type of sociological juridical research, using data collection techniques through interviews, documentation studies, and literature studies. The results of the research show that in general the Sumenep District Police have provided legal protection to children victims of sexual violence. However, there are a number of things that the Sumenep District Police cannot do well in the examination, such as questions that sometimes corner uncomfortable victims. Officers / Investigators are brash and friendly, protect and protect. In addition, the Sumenep District Police in tackling cases of sexual violence against children made various efforts ranging from preventive to repressive efforts. However, there are still many who are involved in the process of preventing cases of violence against children.
