- Education is very benefical for everybody. It is undeniable that education is related to the teachers. Teachers have main role in education because they help to educated other people. They used media in the process of the teaching and learning. Media in teaching learning are as the basic device to communicate with the students regarding the material. This study aimed to find out the implementation of jakarta post newspaper used by the teacher in teaching advance reading comprehension for the fourth semester students of english languange education departement university of muhammadiyah malang and problem solving dealing with the obstacles faced by teacher in teaching advance reading comprehension for the fourth semester students of english languange education departement university of muhammadiyah malang.
