  • This research reveals the influence of substituting beer pulp on the green feed toward TDN consumption and the conversion of animal feed for local male sheep that was conducted during 2 months from November 2018–January 2019. This research was conducted in Kelandungan village, Landungsari, Malang. Purpose of this study is to find out the influence of substituting beer pulp to greed feed toward TDN consumption and conversion of animal feed for local male sheep. Object of this research is 20 local male sheep with initial weight of 11-15 kg. Those sheep are grouped based on their initial weight; KD1= 11 –12 kg, KD2= 12–13 kg, KD3= 13–14 kg, and KD4= 14–15 kg. The variables are TDN consumption in gram/sheep/day and the conversion of animal feed in gram/sheep/day during 2 months. Method of this research is experimental and it uses Randomized Block Design. There are 5 levels of treatment in this research; P0 = 100% greed feed, P1 = 75% green feed + 10% polar + 5% corn + 10% beer pulp, P2 = 50% green pulp + 10% polar + 5% corn + 35% beer pulp, P3 = 25% green feed + 10% polar + 5% corn + 60% beer pulp, P4 = 0% green feed + 10% polar + 5% corn + 85 % beer pulp. The data analysis uses ANAVA. If the treatment has significant influence to observed modifier, it will be continued with further test of Duncan. Result of this research is the substitution of beer pulp to green feed has significant influence (P < 0,01) to TDN consumption for local male sheep. The highest consumption of TDN is P2. It has 382,74 gram/sheep/day average. The substitution of beer pulp to green feed toward conversion of animal feed for local male sheep has significant influence (P < 0,05). The result of the lowest animal feed conversion as the best one is P3 with 5,92 gram/sheep/day average. Result of each treatment shows that TDN consumption and conversion of animal feed in this research has achieved basic living standard, growth and weight increment of local male sheep significantly.
