  • Cabbage plants (Brassica oleracea, L.) are one of the important vegetable commodities and have many benefits for human health. BPS (2017) shows that cabbage crop production has decreased over the period 2013 - 2017 from 1,480,625 tons in 2013 to 1,442,624 tons in 2017. This occurs because one of the main diseases of cabbage plants is very detrimental, namely clubroot which is caused by Plasmodiophora brassicae, this disease is a major obstacle in various countries, because infected plants will be hampered by growth (Agrios, 2005) and affect the quality and quantity of crops. Dixon (2009) states that plants attacked by P. brassicae will wither like experiencing stress due to lack of water, and the growth of dwarf plants. Various efforts to control clubroot root disease have been carried out but have not shown satisfactory results both technically and economically. Other approaches that can be combined with control methods that are more environmentally friendly and have the potential to suppress the growth of P. brassicae are the utilization of antagonistic mushrooms and the use of organic matter. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of antagonist mushroom types and types of organic matter in inhibiting the development of P. brassicae cabbage fungi. This study will be conducted at the Screen House Dusun Kasin, Ampeldento Village, Karangploso. The activity was held for four months starting from November 2018 - February 2019. This study used factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) and repeated 3 times. The treatment carried out is the administration of antagonistic fungi and organic matter. Parameters of observation consisted of plant height, number of leaves, crop diameter, crop weight, disease intensity, root weight, and root length. The obtained data was analyzed using test of F, continued with 5% of bnj test and then the data presented in table. The results obtained showed that Trichoderma sp and goat manure were effective for inhibiting the development of Plasmodiophora brassicae.
