- Laying chicken farms have developed very rapidly because many people know and understand the benefits and results that can be obtained from livestock business. The research objective is to find out the income received and the factors that influence income in Purwokerto Village, whether it is worth it or not. Determination of the location of the study was done purposively. Data sources are primary and secondary. Method of determining respondents by census method. The method of data analysis uses farming analysis and multiple linear regression. The results showed that the total costs incurred by laying hen breeders with an average of Rp.2,102,616,638. The amount of income obtained by laying chicken brokers with an average value of Rp.2,386,228,251. The average value of the R / C ratio is 1.14 which shows the income of laying hens is greater than the costs incurred, so the laying hens are worth the effort. Factors that include seeds, feed, vitamins, labor together affect the income of laying chicken broiler business. Significant value for seedlings is 0.016, feed is 0.10, vitamins are 0.11, labor is 0.040 has a significant value of 0.000> sig 0.05 with a confidence level of 99%. While the cage variable does not affect the income of laying hens.
