- This study aims at analyzing the pharmaceutical companies’ financial performance listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange during the year 2016 by using Economic Value Added (EVA) and Market Value Added (MAV) methods. The subject of this study were Economic Value Added (EVA) and Market Value Added (MVA).. Object of this study was financial performance of pharmaceutical companies during the year 2016. This study applied descriptive quantitative method. Face and market value of a company were analyzed using Eva and MVA methods and through documentation technique in form of financial report. Result of study showed that EVA on pharmeceutical companies during the year 2016 was positive. This proved that the company was able to create added value and maximize its investment value. Yet, there were several pharmaceutical companies that appeard with negative EVA. MVA value in pharmaceutical companies during the year 2016 showed positive level. This indicates that the management has been able to increase the wealth level of shareholder by increasing company’s value in the market.
