- Based on observation data shows that the learning outcomes of fifth grade students in social studies subjects in the types of businesses and economic activities in Indonesia are still low. In the learning process the teacher uses learning methods and models that are less varied, namely only applying the lecture method, question and answer, discussion and assignment, because social studies subjects emphasize memorization and theory, so that the teacher applies the model (CTL) only by linking the material taught with the conditions real / everyday students. This makes a lot of students play, talk with friends, walk at the time of material explanation and when discussing not all active group members in the discussion then who dare to advance only a few children for the presentation or answer and the same students, thus impacting student learning outcomes there are still many under the KKM in Social Studies courses. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in social studies subject matter types of business and economic activities in Indonesia through the application of scramble learning models. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR) which consists of cycle I and cycle II. The study was conducted at Sebani 1 Elementary School, Pandaan, Pasuruan Regency. The target of this study was fifth grade students with a total of 27 students. Data collection techniques using interview guidelines, observation sheets, knowledge and documentation tests. Analysis of data for teacher activity sheets and student activity sheets using percentages, while learning outcomes were analyzed using tests of knowledge with completeness that were adjusted to KKM at school, 70 and assessment of attitudes and skills of students during learning. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes after applying the scramble model in social studies learning. Increased learning outcomes of cognitive domain students have reached KKM as much as 56% in the first cycle and up to 78% in the second cycle, learning outcomes in the affective domain achieve completeness as much as 70% in the first cycle rose to 100% in the second cycle and learning outcomes in the psychomotor domain achieving completeness as much as 74% in the first cycle rose to 100% in the second cycle. Based on these results it can be concluded, the learning outcomes of class V students of SDN Sebani 1 Pandaan after the implementation of the scramble model there is an increase. Based on this, it is suggested for teachers that the scramble learning model can be an alternative in overcoming the problems of student learning outcomes in social studies subjects, especially in the material types of businesses and economic activities in Indonesia.
