- The problem that occurs regarding women victims of domestic violence has become a matter that is often discussed. Starting from physical, psychological, sexual, and court violence. Therefore, counseling services are very necessary for women victims of domestic violence. This study is to examine: 1) the problems experienced by women victims of domestic violence, and 2) the implementation of counseling services in dealing with the problems of women victims of domestic violence. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were counselors, chairmen of the field of protection of women and children, and clients. The technique of collecting data uses observation, interviews, and documentation. The technique used in data analysis is pengu, data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and data verification. Source triangulation is done to explain the validity of the data with various sources to find the information needed. The results showed that: 1) women victims of domestic violence from 2016 to 2018 experienced ups and downs and mathematics experienced by women victims of domestic violence is a problem in terms of the economy, beliefs, in terms of physical, psychological, and social aspects. 2) the counseling service process in Malang City P2TP2A includes reporting, receiving complaints, registering and identifying clients, assessing, rehabilitation, and legal assistance. There is also the implementation of counseling services in dealing with women who are victims of domestic violence, namely socialization and training in cooking baking, making chips, sewing and knitting that aims to empower women. The impact of the application of counseling services to women victims of domestic violence themselves from a social perspective is their righ to feel protected, to be confident and independent. While in terms of psychology is the client’s mental strength and firmness in dealing with problems, anxiety and fear begin to disappear.
