- Primary sector is one of many sectors which contribute the regional gross domestic product of Lamongan Regency. One of the sectors is fisheries sector. This research aims to recognize fisheries subsector potential, including base and non-base as the opportunity to develop regional economics of Lamongan Regency. Data analysis method used in this research are comprises of Location Quotient (LQ) and Tipology Klassen. The result shows that fisheries subsector commodities in Lamongan Regency classified as four categories: Prime commodity categories there are 12 types of commodities, potential commodities have 10 types of commodities, developing commodities there are 27 types of commodities, and backward commodities there are 32 types of commodities in each capture and aquaculture business.The result of this research is able to be a consideration for the government of Lamongan Regency in order to develop and support the activies regarding to fisheries, whether in form of advisory or in facilitating the infrastructure to support the fisheries sector production and also to add more income from fisheries sector.
