- Friendship quality in peer environments can shape individual behavior both positive and negative. In addition to the influence of peers, adolescent behavior can be influenced by attachment to parents. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of friendship quality on adolescent antisocial behavior with parent attachment as moderators. The research subjects were 193 adolescents aged 13-18 who were middle and high school students. The instrument used in this study was the Friendship Quality Scale, a scale adapted from Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment (IPPA) and Subtype Antisocial Behavior (STAB). Data analysis used a Hayes model with the help of SPSS version 21.00 has been installed with the process macro. The results showed that there was a positive relationship between the quality of friendship towards adolescent antisocial behavior, means that high-quality friendships are followed by high antisocial behavior in the adolescent. Parent attachment does not moderate the relationship between the quality of friendship and adolescent antisocial behavior.
