- Ro - Ro Vessel tariff evaluation based on vehicle operating costs carried out at the Kariangau port of Balikpapan - Penajam based on Decree of the Minister of Transportation No. KM. 58 of 2003 concerning Interaction Determination and Formulation of Calculation of Transport Tariffsaims to evaluate Ro - Ro vessel fares based on vehicle operating costs which have increased from several components, both direct costs and indirect costs of oil fuel 2.1%, minimum regional sallary is 8.7% and spare parts are 5% throughout 2018. Current tariff are the result of cost evaluations that use cost analysis before 2018. This research will produce the latest vessel tariff results that can be reviewed due to economic aspects and social community. The results of evaluating vessel Ro - Ro rates in Kariangau harbor that have 16 vessels produce the lowest base tariff of Rp. 1,763 from KMP. Madura I and the highest basic tariff of Rp. 1,806 from KMP. Ulin Ferry. The lowest limit will be used as the new minimum tariff, while the upper limit tariff will be the maximum limit of the new tariff which will then be decided and determined by the Governor of East Borneo. The government states that evaluation of ferry crossing rates should be evaluated no later than 6 months to provide control and adjustment of operational costs of vehicles that are volatile.
